Manufacturing Process

The manufacturing of pocket springs is a specialized process separate from mattress production. Individual springs are inserted into separate fabric bags and interconnected to form strings of pocket springs. These strings are then cut to desired lengths and laterally bonded using hot-melt adhesive application. Depending on requirements, fleece material is applied to the top and bottom surfaces. The lateral dot gluing allows spring mobility while the fleece gluing creates a highly elastic support surface.
