Product Overview

Zigzag springs, also known as "No-sag spring", "Sinuous spring", "Arcless spring", "Serpentine spring", "S-shaped spring", "Snake spring", or "S spring", are manufactured from high carbon steel wire for superior durability and performance.

These versatile springs are widely used in sofa seats and backs, chair seats and backs, and automotive car seats. Zigzag springs can be produced in flat, curved, round, or other custom shapes to meet specific customer requirements.

Installation Process

Clevis clips are first screwed into the wooden frame of the sofa at predetermined intervals.
The serpentine spring is stretched across the seat area, and its ends are snapped into the clevis clips.
Tie wires are run across the springs (front to back) and secured to each spring with spring clips or hog rings.
This creates a tight, interconnected grid structure for optimal support.
The final step involves adding a layer of padding and foam before the upholstery is applied.
